Developing Professional Skills for Next Generation Leaders
At Walton Inspires, we place an emphasis on teaching all young people manners, discipline, respect, and how to conduct themselves in a professional environment.
This 10-Week program allows our team to teach students these skills through a fun and memorable experience and enables them to engage with local business leaders on behalf of our partners.
The program introduces students to the networks, roles, opportunities, and career paths that they may not have been exposed to before.
During the First Impression, students learn and develop professional qualities — from the mechanics of an elevator pitch, to how to “work the room” — so that they are able to present themselves exceptionally well for opportunities today and in the future.
Walton Inspires Legacy Scholarship
Prospective Scholar
This scholarship is for High School Seniors of the following minority group who will be attending Navarro College after high school. The minority groups include: African American, Native American, Hispanic/Latino, and Asian and Pacific Islanders. The scholarship is for one student for the Fall of 2023 and Fall of 2024 of $500 per semester. Students MUST be attending a high school in one of the following counties: Navarro, Ellis, Leon, Limestone, or Freestone. Applicants
